Boys 11 A-side Turf

This is the premier grade in which the standard of hockey is expected to be the highest possible for Primary/Intermediate School children. 

Year 7 & 8 pupils, and talented/capable Year 6 pupils. Players in this grade should have at least one, preferably two or more seasons of play in lower grades. A high personal skill level is required. 

A team consists of 11 players, including a fully-equipped goalkeeper. Teams are expected to have 2 reserve players as rolling substitutions are permitted.

Games are played on full-sized artificial surfaces. Games are 2 x 25minute halves with a 2-minute half-time.
