Girls Super 8's

This grade is the primary feeder grade for 11-a-side Grades. The intention is that players in this grade should be playing a fast, open style of play, demonstrating an understanding of good positional play, trapping accurately and passing quickly to create advantage.

Year 6 to 7 pupils, and talented/capable Year 5. Year 8 children can play in this grade but should be encouraged to play 11 aside where possible. No children who are in Year 9 or above are permitted to play under any circumstances.

Players in this grade should have had at least one season of play in lower grades. A reasonable skill level is required for the top Division, although there will be a range of team ability throughout the grade.

A team consists of 8 players (on the field at any one time), including a fully-equipped goalkeeper. Rolling substitutions are permitted. Games are played on a half-sized artificial surface and are 2 x 20minute halves.
